Twirling Tots is a small local business set up and run by Carol Cooper. All classes are currently taught by Carol as she feels its important to get to know her local community in the early stages of opening the classes.

Carol attended Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and received a BA (Hons) in Performance (Musical Theatre Option). Prior to this she received a Diploma in Dance from The College of Dance, Ireland.
Currently Carol teaches dance, drama and singing in various schools around London, Essex and Hertfordshire. Her pupils have won numerous awards including: ‘Pitch Perfect Team’ and ‘Overall Musical Theatre Winners’ at Pineapple’s Edmonton Glee competition 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Before moving into teaching full time Carol toured the U.K. and Ireland and performed in many musicals and pantomimes. Carol was also lucky enough to travel to the U.S. as the lead singer in Feet of Fire.

Shannon Brearey
Teacher
Shannon Brearey trained at a musical theatre college, where she received a diploma in performance. Following her training, she went straight into professional work, performing across the UK as a singer and dancer. She then went on to perform internationally in France, before joining a cruise ship in America.
Shannon has been teaching from a young age and has many years of experience working with children. She has since worked across Essex and Hertfordshire, delivering performing arts and supporting education within schools. She teaches a range of disciplines including singing, acting, and stage skills, and has worked with children of all ages.
Alongside her work in schools, she runs her own singing teaching business, providing one-to-one and group lessons. She is passionate about creating a supportive and enjoyable environment where children can build confidence, develop skills, and express themselves
